In an effort to evaluate not just WHAT we do but also HOW we do it, the performance management system, Lead@Uva, requires development and evaluation on defined competencies. One way to strengthen a competency is to take a SkillSoft course. Check out some examples of courses for each of the 31 identified competencies .
Custom one-hour programs are available for your department. Your team can learn to use SkillSoft effectively, including how to:
- register
- create your own training plan or a training plan for your team
- make sure SkillSoft “saves” your progress in training
- use SkillSoft as an effective online help system.
If you are not able to register or log in, try the Skillsoft self-help.
If Skillsoft self-help does not resolve your issue; or if you are uncomfortable stepping through the technical instructions, contact Skillsoft through their live support channel. Contact information for our region is obtained here.
Contact program coordinator Margaret Reitz (mr9x@virginia.edu) 924-3120, to request a consultation, a site visit or to schedule a program for your department.
