Health Plan are automatically enrolled in a national discount vision program. Retirees have the option of enrolling in this program. Enrollees have access to Eye Benefits, a national network of vision care professionals comprised of optometrists, opticians, and refractive surgeons. Discount hearing services are available by enrolling in the EPIC hearing discount program. Discounted prices are charged to participants when they use providers in the Eye Benefits network. Note that some providers may offer promotional sales that are less expensive than the Eye Benefits/EPIC discount. Members are advised to ask about specials a provider may be offering.
